02.02.22 COPENHAGUEN/TORONTO – RBV portfolio company Team Singularity ApS (“TeamSingularity”) has signed a commercial agreement (“Agreement”) with global sports, media and entertainment company, OverActive Media (“OAM”) with the objective to create, develop and manage esports Academy teams.
OverActiveMedia owns team franchises across multiple professional esports leagues including the Overwatch League and Call of Duty League. They also own MADLions, a leading esports club in Europe that competes in Counter-Strike: GlobalOffensive and League of Legends as part of Spain's SuperLiga Orange and theLeague of Legends European Championship, respectively.
According to the Agreement Team Singularity shall provide expertise in player identification, selection and development as well as team operations. TheAgreement leverages Team Singularity’s experience of having developed the world largest esport academy, with over 10,000 registered users, and the Path2ProTM methodology that identifies, develops, and nurtures the future stars of professional esports.
